It would be very convenient to have a chat inside the platform where all Board Members or Committees can hold a discussion. Why? Because using other platforms like WhatsApp / Viber / Telegram and creating constantly new groups is annoying. Thanks:)
I agree - this is sorely missing from BoardPro. Our board members must go outside your platform to communicate with one another, and that causes plenty of friction. As this is really difficult to do well, might I suggest tackling this by having a solid (and easy to implement) integration with Discourse or some other competent discussion platform?
Our board is very keen to be implemented this feature within BoardPro. Ideally, a chat feature will allow board members to ask questions and have them answered prior to the meeting with the aim to shorten the length of our monthly meetings.
Chat feature would really please my board who would prefer not to involve their personal email for sensitive board matters. Increases security and confidentiality. I think it is a must for BoardPro. Thank you.
Hi guys - Agree - Just flagging again the desire for the system to have an internal chat area / or area to raise individual issues within the system where all board members can can comment and give feedback / ideas etc have - extra to board meeting notes. I am using the flying minute system at present for this, but it is not really something needed for a vote ?
I think a chat feature controlled by the Board Secretary would work best and avoid 'chat traffic' distracting from the mtg. Its often that a Board Secretary needs to just flick a message of 'your presentation is delayed by 15mins' or a swift nudge to the Chair of running overtime!
Yes please - we desperately need a discussion board feature (I've currently given my committee members "Senior Executive" level access, so that they can create "Between Meeting Reports" as a way of opening discussion threads... This is less than ideal, though. Board Pro needs more project management type tools, to make it a one stop shop for committee members and working groups.

Big Yes. Keeping all correspondence in one portal would be beneficial.
Chat function would be perfect. We currently use other platforms but it would be ideal to keep it on boardpro and a record

Chat function would make sense - we are trying to keep one central point for board communication - got my vote to develop

Would love a bulletin board facility to post docs to and add comments to fellow members.
