At present the only ways to build an agenda is to either clone an exiting agenda from the same meeting series, or to use the best practice template (or possibly start from scratch).
It would be good to be able to build my own template agenda which I can then clone as a starting point for each meeting (including making a copy of the template to make a different template).
Most of our meetings follow a similar format, however they have their own flavour.
The template could easily pick up a series of standing agenda items based on the annual work plan and then items can be deleted for a particular meeting if not needed.
I agree, absolutely need more flexibility around formatting and the ability to have text either justified or left aligned, be able to manage spacing between items and to have headings formatted as you want them, etc. Also the facility to include images in the motion (flying minutes)/note/decision/action text boxes etc.
A spell checker would also be a good move, as well as the ability for a manager to be able to review a complete set of draft minutes or an agenda and make changes to that which automatically update into BoardPro. At present I have to export the downloaded document to Word, save in Sharepoint, then send a track-changes link to the manager who makes their changes on this document, then I update the changes in the BoardPro notes/decisions/actions etc. All a bit cumbersome but much easier for a busy person to see the whole document than trying to go through each individual note/decision/action box to make their changes.
I'd agree with this idea of customising agendas. I find it frustrating that some of the agenda headings cannot be removed if not required. This does not make for a tidy agenda and some work on this ability to customise would be tremendous. Thank you.
