Sometimes Actions Items are no longer required, due to the outcome from other events. Sometimes they merge with others etc. It is good they can be edited and additional notes, but also it would be better to set a status of "Not completed" "Superceded) "Linked" - with a link to another action item
Agree with these comments - I'd like to see an "NFAR" status - the action is not Done, but no further action is required.
I also find that actions seem to get duplicated, which then reduces clarity and distracts people from getting stuff done!
In an ideal world, Duplicates could be linked to the current action.
Actions that are Done, NFAR or Duplicates - should be removed from the Current Action List.

Definitely. This would be very useful. Also the option to add a note when the item is complete.
It would be useful to add an option in actions for "archived" or "no longer needed". This comes up for us fairly often when business needs change.
Would also be good if people with 'board member' access could provide comments on the progress of the action item. The administrator can 'edit' and provide that but better if individuals who can update status could also add comments.
agree. a minute might agree to a revised action but the system doesn't provide for the change.
