There have been some instances where someone accidentally deleted the wrong meeting. It would be helpful if a limited version control process for deletion could be considered. For example, things could be put into a recyclable bin or a time frame that allows you to salvage the meeting once it has been deleted— a few days or maybe a couple of weeks.
Maybe even sending a notice to the meeting administrator that this has occurred would be helpful. This would allow them to agree to the deletion or, if needed, undo it, especially if multiple people are working on the meeting.
